As an NDIS transport provider for more than two years, we have a specialised team of experts ready to assist you with your transport needs and offering you the extra care you need.

We understand that having the ability to use safe and reliable transport is key to maintaining your independence so you can continue to live a fulfilling life.

This may mean travelling to work, school or study, or it might mean transport to appointments or social events, no matter what the occasion – Eureka Taxis Ballarat has you covered.

By choosing Eureka Taxis Ballarat, you can use your NDIS transport funding and take control of your travel. Our fleet of vehicles includes taxis and wheelchair accessible vehicles to get you to and from where you need to go in a vehicle suited to your individual needs.

Additionally, unlike others, our call centre is manned by real & local people all day – every day, 365 days a year.

Am I eligible for a Eureka Taxis NDIS Account?

You will generally be able to access funding through the NDIS for transport support if you are unable to use public transport without substantial difficulty due to your disability. You can refer to your individual NDIS plan to see if you have transport funding available.

How does a Eureka Taxis NDIS account work?

Our dedicated NDIS support team understands that having the ability to use safe and reliable transport is important in maintaining independence. For many this may mean travelling to work, school or study, or it might mean transport to appointments or social events.

To be able to book transport please call 1300 18 33 60 and provide your account number or mobile phone number. Alternatively you can book online at https://book.eurekataxis.com.au or via our smart phone apps.

Can you cater for all abilities?

Yes!

Every one of our drivers are extensively trained to undertake work from any situation. Our NDIS co-coordinators leave very detailed instructions on all NDIS account(s) for driver(s) to see.

M40 & NDIS

M40 / Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) cards can not be used in conjunction with NDIS funding as per section 9 of the MPTP Terms and conditions. Any driver using M40 / MPTP cards with any other government subsidized payments should be reported to CPV via email mptp@cpv.vic.gov.au

How Eureka Taxis works within the NDIS

Eureka Taxis NDIS Accounts are available for anyone with a Self or Planned managed transport allowance from the NDIS.

It takes around 7-14 business days for us to complete the setup of your account, draw up and lodge your service agreement as well as get you setup within our system once we have received your signed service agreement.

We will invoice your plan weekly, within 14 days of any trip with a 7 day payment term (unless otherwise negotiated).

How Eureka Taxis works for NDIS Support Coordinators

After more than two years providing mobility access for Australians with disability, we know one thing for certain; every passenger’s needs are different. That’s why we’re flexible when working with you to manage travel for your participants.

As a registered NDIS transport provider, we work directly with Support Coordinators like yourself to understand mobility needs and budget constraints, helping participants to make choices around their individual transport needs.

We work with you to prevent unnecessarily waste of funds and work towards fraud and unruly behaviours with participants.

Every NDIS participant is treated with dignity and respect on a first come, first served basis.

The first taxi was late, but I was let know which was appreciated. The pick up came at 11pm. I thought I changed it to 10:45, but I realised I hadn’t. I did try to phone when I got to the venue to check I felt 10:45 would be the go, but couldn’t get through. But both drivers were very nice and helpful with my disability. I would certainly recommend this taxi service.

I needed to catch a ride to the train station quite early in the morning and decided to book a taxi to take me to the station. The process was simple when I booked it the night before. The operator that took my call was cautious and caring. He asked me what time my train was and advised to give myself a bit more time to get there just in case. I am glad I took the advice so that it wasn’t as rushed. On the day, I received a text to say when they were coming as well as the driver’s name. My taxi driver, Mark, arrived 5 minutes earlier than my booked time and helped me with my luggage bag. He was friendly, chatty and helpful and even offered to swing past maccas if I wanted to.

Thanks for the smooth and professional process, Eureka taxi. If I need a booked ride service in the future again, I will definitely use your company again!

Driver was good, however we waited almost an hour for the taxi to show up due to short staff. But the amount we had to pay was too much.

You requested a maxi taxi which attracts a much higher rate (Tariff 9). 2. There was the fuel levy of $20 as per section 14 of our terms and conditions which covers the ware and tare of the vehicle on the return journey. 3. There was a premium fee as per section 12 of our terms which as per the call recording you where asked if you consented to (which you did). Once I found the correct url to book online the booking process went smoothly. There is no online booking link on eurekataxis.com.au, you need to use book.etwv.com.au I was kept informed with text messages of booking and driver assignment and I was able to track the taxi. Jeff arrived on time, car was clean and Jeff was friendly and got me there safely and on time. Overall another excellent service from Eureka Taxis.

Eureka Taxis – from the moment the dispatcher takes the call, clients are greeted with a warm, friendly welcoming tone, to where you feel valued, then constantly kept up to date with where the taxi is, estimated time of arrival and who your driver will be. Once in the car the experience is a positive one, over this last week, eureka taxis have been my lifesaver with my husband being in the hospital, the entire fleet of drivers particularly Ebony. Mark. Josh, Matthew and Jeff have been super friendly and know the Ballarat region like the back of their hand, I was able to enjoy a nice conversation with the drivers who came across with a warm, caring approach to even asking how my partner was doing following his medical episode. I would recommend Eureka Taxis to all my family and friends, there needs to be more prompt arrival, welcoming service that Eureka displays and I look forward to travelling with them again in the future. An absolutely delightful organisation and a real asset to the Ballarat community.
