Matthew Matters
(Managing Director)

Matthew, 31 y o, who the brain child of Eureka Taxis Western Victoria. Matthew brings a wealth of both managerial and business experience to Eureka Taxis with over 12 years of experience and knowledge across a multiple business industries.

Matthew has completed a masters in Information Technology with the specialty in Cyber Security and Network Engineering at the  then Ballarat University (now Federation Uni)

Before starting Eureka Taxis, Matthew used to Work for Department Education and Telstra.

Matthew handles the back-end server systems, taxi fitouts and technical support for our vehicles as well as all regulatory government compliance.
Matthew owns two other successful business (an internet service provider and a radio station network) which keeps him on his toes.
 
Matthew loves a tackling any challenges and trying something new, challenging the rule that it’s never impossible and making the Impossible possible.

Vivienne Wilson
(Operations Director)

Vivienne, 57 y o, brings to the company a wealth of knowledge and experience having completed Diploma of Mental Health, Certificate of Drug and Alcohol. Vivienne also comes with 19 years of working in the Mental Health Field and having worked at Langi Kal Kal Prison (Pre-Release Program).

My passion is to ensure people who have been identified as “vulnerable” are educated what is available to them. To ensure they are informed / educated to ensure they do not become the victim / or be taken advantage of their safety and wellbeing.

Vivienne enjoys challenges and tries to identify gaps and see how we can implement within the Taxi Industry. This what has led me to joining Eureka Taxis Ballarat as a business partner to try and make people at ease, whilst travelling with Eureka Taxis.

What a fantastic taxi company. From the time you book to pick-up then drop off the staff are wonderful. I have used different taxi companies in the past but Eureka is now ( and has been for awhile ) my go-to ride.
They are friendly and helful, polite and when you feel like a chat they will chat but when you want a quiet ride they understand and will give you a peaceful drop-off.
Yes i am going on about this company but its not often that you get such great service with taxis and this one is one of few that deliver customer satisfaction.

I always have high respect for Eureka Taxi. The drivers are absolutely polite and helpful. Their time management is super excellent. The best part is when I ring their office for booking, it is the real people who will pick the call and not a recording. The first taxi was late, but I was let know which was appreciated. The pick up came at 11pm. I thought I changed it to 10:45, but I realised I hadn’t. I did try to phone when I got to the venue to check I felt 10:45 would be the go, but couldn’t get through. But both drivers were very nice and helpful with my disability. I would certainly recommend this taxi service.

I needed to catch a ride to the train station quite early in the morning and decided to book a taxi to take me to the station. The process was simple when I booked it the night before. The operator that took my call was cautious and caring. He asked me what time my train was and advised to give myself a bit more time to get there just in case. I am glad I took the advice so that it wasn’t as rushed. On the day, I received a text to say when they were coming as well as the driver’s name. My taxi driver, Mark, arrived 5 minutes earlier than my booked time and helped me with my luggage bag. He was friendly, chatty and helpful and even offered to swing past maccas if I wanted to.

Thanks for the smooth and professional process, Eureka taxi. If I need a booked ride service in the future again, I will definitely use your company again!
