Founded in 2018 as Oii Taxis Ballarat, Eureka Taxis Western Victoria commenced operations with a single driver and vehicle, shortly after adding further vehicles and drivers whilst continuing to build our customer base.

In late July 2020, plans were put into place to rebrand the entire company and become the only locally owned and operated booking service provider for taxi, delivery and transport services.

In September 2020 the legal name, Eureka Taxis Western Victoria Pty Ltd was registered and the sub-business name of Eureka Taxis Ballarat was created.

In December 2020 we launched in Ballan to offer the community an alternate transport service.

In January 2021 (during the height of the pandemic) Eureka Taxis moved into its first commercial premises where it runs its day to day operations, the 24/7 dispatch operations centre, as well as for meetings and training.

Later in 2021, we registered to become a booking service provider with the CPVV, as well as registering for NDIS both for self and plan managed clients.

As Covid-19 crippled the industry and forced many into lockdown, we continued to grow and expand, carefully listening and adapting to the needs of our customers.

Eureka Taxis has continued to evolve and grow into a fleet of dedicated and loyal staff. Our drivers and our operations team together work tirelessly to maintain an excellent level of customer service, as well as maintaining our regulatory compliance, along with the safety of our vehicles for 2023 and beyond.
